Sauna + Cold Plunge

What is contrast therapy?

By alternating between heat and cold, contrast therapy stimulates circulation, tames inflammation, and conditions the body’s stress-response systems. This deliberate exposure to controlled stress drives adaptation, speeds recovery, and fosters better physiological balance.

Who is it for?

This approach is ideal for active individuals, high-stress professionals, and anyone aiming to enhance recovery, manage stress, or support their metabolism. It’s equally beneficial for those interested in longevity, cardiovascular health, or nervous system regulation.

What are the benefits of the sauna?

Our 180° dry sauna sessions aid detoxification through sweating, boost circulation, promote deep relaxation, and help alleviate stress. Consistent heat exposure is also linked to improved cardiovascular function and enhanced endurance, as reflected in markers like VO₂ max.

What are the benefits of the cold plunge?

Our 44° cold plunges help quell inflammation, ease muscle soreness, and activate brown fat, which is important for insulin sensitivity and metabolic health. Cold exposure also stimulates the nervous system, sharpening mental clarity and building resilience.

What are the long-term health benefits?

Consistent practice of contrast therapy can bolster cardiovascular health, metabolic efficiency, stress resilience, and recovery. Over time, these adaptations may lead to improved longevity markers, lower chronic inflammation, and more balanced overall physiology.

Help & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We do not accept insurance. Halcyon follows a concierge medicine model because insurance-driven healthcare often limits appointment time, personalization, and proactive treatment. By stepping outside the insurance system, we can offer longer visits, real-time adjustments, and preventative hormone and wellness care designed around you—not billing codes.

  • Your monthly membership supports ongoing, personalized care—not just office visits. You get 24/7 provider access, prescription management, real-time treatment adjustments, unlimited follow-ups, two baseline blood panels per year, and 20% off IV and contrast therapy. This model allows your care to evolve as your body changes—instead of waiting for problems to arise.

  • BHRT is for adults experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance—such as menopause, perimenopause, thyroid disorders, or PCOS. It helps with fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, weight gain, or low libido when hormones are at the root of these issues. Treatment is always personalized, data-driven, and closely monitored for safety and effectiveness.

  • Traditional healthcare is often reactive and appointment-based, with limited time and access between visits. Concierge medicine flips the script—prioritizing prevention, access, and continuity. This means your care team can spot trends early, intervene sooner, and manage your health as a whole, not just in isolated moments.

  • Many patients notice improvements in energy, sleep, focus, or recovery within the first few weeks—though timelines vary. Hormone and wellness care is highly individualized, with your plan adjusted over time as your body responds, never rushed or standardized.

  • We listen first. Your initial consultation includes approximately 45 minutes discussing your symptoms, medical history, medications, and lifestyle, followed by a 15-minute review of your comprehensive blood panel. We look beyond hormone levels to identify other potential causes of your symptoms. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include hormone replacement therapy (HRT), nonhormonal options, or further evaluation. We explain the benefits, risks, and what to expect from treatment. And with our concierge care model, your care doesn't end after your appointment. We continue monitoring your progress and adjusting your treatment as your needs evolve.

  • We believe personalized hormone care should come with transparent pricing and no surprises.

Your initial consultation is $550, which includes comprehensive bloodwork, a detailed consultation, lab review, a personalized treatment plan, and your first month of concierge care.

After that, our Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) membership is $150 per month. This includes 24/7 provider access, prescription management, ongoing treatment adjustments, unlimited follow-ups, and two routine blood panels per year.

  • Your baseline lab panel includes:

    • Hormone levels: Testosterone, estradiol (estrogen), DHEA-S, FSH, LH, and SHBG.

    • Thyroid function: TSH, Free T3, Free T4, and thyroid antibodies.

    • Metabolic health: Blood sugar, insulin, hemoglobin A1c, and cholesterol.

    • Overall wellness: Liver and kidney function, blood counts, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and inflammatory markers.

Additional testing may be recommended based on your symptoms, menstrual history, and stage of perimenopause, menopause, or andropause. No two patients are exactly alike, and neither are their lab panels. We evaluate your results alongside your symptoms, medical history, and health goals to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Sauna + Cold Plunge

Contrast therapy pairs high-heat sauna sessions with cold water immersion to spark the body’s natural recovery, detoxification, and stress-adaptation processes. Heat enhances circulation, relaxation, and detox pathways, while cold reduces inflammation and activates beneficial hormonal and nervous system responses. This dynamic combination delivers a potent stimulus that boosts cardiovascular health, accelerates recovery, and builds long-term resilience.
